This is the second update in October! The latest firmware release brings a range of enhancements to improve performance, usability, and visual feedback across the VL1 Controller. Here’s what’s new:
🚀 Improvements & Fixes
- Encoder Acceleration: Smoother and more responsive turning behavior
- Looper Timing: Enhanced timing accuracy for tighter MIDI looping. Hanging of notes removed.
- OLED Parameter Styling: Updated visual layout for better readability
- Parameter Cleanup: Removed unnecessary edit options for a cleaner interface
- Live Morphing Display: Real-time morph feedback now shown on the OLED screen
- File Management:
- File > Load File > Load Selected Elements now fully functional
- Notch Filter Visualization: Filter type now clearly displayed
- Poly Expansion Reset: Automatically resets when a new file is loaded
- 2. Update:
- The settings in Utility page now are stored permanently
- Clear message, when controller requests a sysex dump
- Sysex messages can now also be received at FromKB port
